(Gloriscope.com) – Embassy Music, a Christian music talent search company based in Nashville, Tennessee, announced today the launch of its latest search for new Christian music artists and songs.

The event will take place on the legendary Music Row in Nashville during Gospel Music Association’s (GMA’s) Music Week April 19-23, 2008. GMA’s Music Week is America’s biggest Christian music event of the year, which culminates with the annual Dove awards for best Christian songs, albums, vocalists, groups, songwriters, and music producers.

During the talent search event, the winners will have a chance to win a single song publishing agreement for the song winning the Grand Prize and a Nashville-based production development deal for the Grand Prize-winning artist. Winners will also have a chance to meet representatives of EMI/CMP, Provident Label Group, Word/Curb/Warner, Gotee, and other labels.

Embassy Music is one of the leading talent finders of independent Christian artists and songwriters. It started 13 years ago by offering seminars to Christian artists eager to enter the music world or develop their career. Over the years, it has mentored and assisted Christian artists in the development of their artist careers and during the music publishing process. For the last years GMA’s Dove awards, Embassy’s artists received an astonishing number of five Dove nominations.

Embassy Music does live auditions in multiple rooms with 12-15 auditions per hour. Each artist has 90 seconds to perform, and family and friends are allowed to be present. The judges are music industry professionals.
